Thur. Stamp Class

I had a class on Thur and only had 2 dedicated ladies show up - Thank you, Kim and Tina we had alot of fun!
This is the 2 cards and the gum holder that they made. You have seen the birthday card on my blog before. It is getting near to Mother's Day so I wanted them to make one to give to their mother. Then the gum holder uses the mini clips, I know they are retired but I happen to only have 3 left so I wanted to use them to get rid of them.

Business Expo - Not good!

Was not good at all it cost me money to be there instead of make money. It was only advertised in the Retirement home newsletter and even those people that lived there didn't seem to remember it was taking place on Tue. It started at 1:00 and about 2:00 - 2:30 it seemed like it was over because the people must have been napping or it was soap opera time. It ended at 4:00 and I couldn't wait for this to be over. They had 9 other businesses represented there and they didn't sell much. I only had a hand full of people that said they make cards. The Creative Memories lady didn't sell a thing. So it wasn't worth it.

I was one of the chosen for the Crafter's Award

I received this award from Colleen (check out her blog she has lots of great projects!! at www.stampincolleen.com). It is the Arte Y Pico (Art & More) Award and is given to bloggers who share their art and creativity making their contribution to the blogging world. Thanks Colleen! I do love sharing my inspirations and learning from others while blogging.

The rules...

You have to pick five blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.

Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.

Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and the link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.

Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte y Pico blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

To show these rules.

Well this is my 5 choices of blogs that I visit daily and enjoy what they share with all of us. Thank you!

Items for sale at Business Expo

Here are a few more items that I will be selling next Tue at the Business Expo. Besides cards and some other items I have made. Here are some glass vases I was going to use for a Rub-On Class but the rub-ons wouldn't stick to the glass so I just never did anything with them. I thought why not put the rub-ons on tags with ribbon and try to sell them. Then the votive candles I got 2 of the rub-ons to stick and the rest I put on the ribbon.

I had a class scheduled for Sat and I have to cancel it due to lack of attendance. Not one person could make it or was interested in attending so I cancelled it. Oh well on to the next class.

Stay tuned I will be coming up with something NEW or new for me. It will be something I have never offered before to anyone that is interested. Keep checking back wink, wink!

Warm and Sunny Weekend

No stamping this weekend it was time to do outside work. I had to get my garden rototilled up and do yard work. It was 60 degrees all weekend, it is about time. Here in Michigan we have been waiting for spring weather.

Happy Birthday to my Sis - which was on Sat. I sent her a card in the mail which she should have gotten already. I hope you had a great day, Lin.

April 12 All Occasions Class I still have spots available. If I don't get enough people to attend I will have to cancel this class. If you are interested email me at nacho07@peoplepc.com

Business Expo

I will be attending a Business Expo on April 15 and this is one of the items I have made. The little box holds a snack size candy bar or 2 peppermint patties. I put in mine a snack size hershey bar. I am making 3D items and cards to sell. Bringing catalogs, sign up sheets for mailings and class schedule to promote my business. I have never done one of these before and I am looking forward to it. My concerns are it is during the week and from 1 - 4pm. Well we will give it a try. If I could just meet some new stampers that would like to come to my classes and/or have a workshop in their home I would be happy. Wish me luck!!!!

Box out of Summer Picnic DSP

I had this box pattern and thought if I use the New Summer Picnic Double Sided Designer Paper this would be such a cute box. So this is how it turned out. I am not sure I like the die cut flower with the Orange in the center, from Tart & Tangy. I love the striped grosgrain ribbon on the side. Let me know what you think.
