Embossing Folders Card

I just cut up different sizes of baked brown sugar to make the card front for these cards.  It was fun making this card and I liked how they turned out.  I have made a few to swap for convention.

Spiral Flower Die

This is the Spiral Flower Original Die - don't you just love it?

I made some of these for the members that attended the Group Meeting we had on March 13th.  This die is really fun to play with.

I used the new Washi Tape - Epic Day to go behind the Elegant Butterfly punch.  Also, the new Simply Pressed Clay and Clay Molds for the flower and then sponged Calypso Coral ink to color the flower.  Friends Forever is a Hostess Set - Banner Greetings.

This is a Dress card I made for a customer that placed an order with me.

I just love this dress and the Calypso Coral with Lucky Limeade combination.

The Dressed Up Framelits are really fun to play with you have to get them!  These are not just for kids it is for us grown ups too!

The pennant and letters are all used with the Photopolymer Stamps.  The letters are tiny but the pennant can be shaped any way you want it to go.

Easter Basket Tutorial

From Designer Series Paper cut 5 strips 1" x 8 1/2" and 1 strip for the handle 3/4" x 8 1/2" strip.

 

Then take one of the strips and put sticky strip down the center on the side of the DSP that you do not want to see.

Take one of the DSP strips and with the side down on the side you want to see, which would be the outside of the basket start laying them side by side starting on the left side.



 

 



 

 Take the far left strip and pull it up next to the last strip.  Keep doing this until you have done this to all 4 strips - see the picture above.

You will have a little piece leftover to attach to the other side to make it into the basket.

Stick your hand inside the basket to form fit it so it will sit nice and not fall over.

Then attach the handle and on one side cover where you over lapped the edges.

I used the Pinwheel Die and a brad and attached on each side of the handle.

 

 

I made these for my Grand-Children for Easter.  I am sure they will like them.

I also used the Boarders Scoring Plate to make the scallops on the bottom where the pearls are.  This Scoring Plate is fun to use!

I just love the NEW Hearts A Flutter Stamp and Framelits!  I also used the NEW Borders Scoring Plate, I am not sure you can see it very well in the picture, it is just below the ribbon the whole width of the card little scallops and dots.

Another Hearts A Flutter

This card was inspired by Monika Davis.  I just love the Hearts A Flutter stamps and Framelits don't miss out on these they are fantastic to use.  Also, I would not have thought to put Basic Gray and Sahara Sand together but it looks really nice together.  Monika used Basic Gray and Crumb Cake and that looked great too.

Hearts A Flutter

I used the stamp and framelits Hearts A Flutter which are new in the Spring Catalog.  I used the chalkboard technique, that was inspired by Becky Roberts this is really cool to do. What you do is take White stamp pad and rub using a dabber some white on the black cardstock to implicate where chalk was wiped off a chalkboard. Don't you just love this card?

For my Grandchildren

I made these cute snowman bags for my Grandchildren - Isabella and Dominic!  Dominic had seen my Grinch Cello Bags that I made at the Craft Show and he wanted one so now he will get one.

Holiday Ornament Framelit Christmas Card

I made this card for one of my many Christmas Cards I am giving this year.  What do you think of this card?  I used a bunch of different stamp sets for all the sayings.  I used the Holiday Ornament Framelit and Finishing Touches Edgelit.  The designer paper in the ornament is Be Of Good Cheer.  Ribbon is Gumball Green 3/8" stitched grosgrain.
