Valentine's Day Card

This is the Valentine's Day Card I made for my hubby!

I got some new stuff to play with and the card was cased by Kim Ryden.

Stamps: Off the Grid, Geometrical, Just Sayin, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Yippee Skippy. I embossed the Off the Grid stamp. Used the new Triangle punch with the Kaledoscope DSP. Undefined that I made my own stamp the triangle on the bottom with the stripes.

I hope you got everything you wanted today from that special person in your life.  Also, I hope you have enjoyed all the wonderful Valentine's Day ideas I have shared with you over the last 10 days.

On this card I used the new That's the Ticket Stamp Set, Hearts A Flutter, Ticket Punch and Hearts A Flutter Framelits. 

Day 10 to Valentine's Day Ideas

This treat holder uses the 2 tags die and scored at 1 1/4" for the treats to go in.

I used the stamp sets Pretty Postage and Vintage Verses - FREE from SAB both inked in Real Red. Then I too a flower from the 5/8" Flower Trim and rubbed it in the Real Red Ink Pad to color the ends of the Flower.  The ribbon I used is 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon Real Red and Very Vanilla.

Day 9 of Valentine's Day Ideas

Supplies used to make this card:

Cardstock: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Silver Shimmer Paper

Ink: Cherry Cobbler

Stamps: Pretty Petites, Oh, Hello and Teeny Tiny Wishes

Punches: Word Window, Small Heart, Petite Curly Label and Hearts Framelits

Ribbon: 5/8" Whisper White Organza

Other: Dazzling Details



Day 8 to Valentine's Day Ideas

You might have a friend you want to send a Valentine's Card to.  I used the new stamp set Amazing Family with the Chalkboard Technique.  The embossing folder is the new Honeycomb Folder. The framelit is from the Labels Collection.

In the center of the card I used a piece of Primrose Petal 3/8" Stitched Grograin Ribbon, Vintage Faceted Designer Button, White Bakers Twine and Pearl Basic Jewels

 

 

This card was sent to my good friend Brenda who I will be attending the 2013 Stampin' Up! Convention - see our little tickets!

Day 7 to Valentine's Day Ideas

I saw this treat holder and just had to make it.  The idea was cased from Melissa Davies. Go to Jan. 13th to see what she made.

 

Here is a Tutorial to make this treat holder.

Begin with a piece of Pretty In Pink cardstock 1 3/4" x 5".

Score on the 5" side @ 3/4", 2", 3", and 4 1/4".

Then on the section that is scored @ 3/4" and 2" emboss with heart strip from the Adorning Accents Folder.

Punch the ends using the Fancy Flower Punch. Insert into the punch from the top. Line up the cardstock to the first score line.

Insert the candies using sticky strip. Adhere the top closed using sticky strip.

In Real Red Ink stamp the heart from Hearts a Flutter.

Punch out a Heart with Real Red Cardstock with the Full Heart.

Stamp in Pretty In Pink Ink the Valentine's stamp from That's the Ticket.

Cut one flower from the 5/8" Flower Trim and rub or push into the Pretty In Pink Ink Pad to color the tips of the flower.

Adhere the ticket and flower to the front of the heart.

Here is a wrapped Ghirdelli Candy.

The DSP is from Summer Smooches, Hearts A Flutter Framelits, Hearts A Flutter Stamp Set, Tiny Tags and 1/8" Taffeta Real Red Ribbon.

Day 5 to Valentine's Day Ideas

M&M Cello Bag Arrow to your Heart!

I used Real Red Cardstock and punched a heart with the Full Heart. Then I stamped in Real Red Ink with the Hearts A Flutter stamp and Framelits.

Day 4 to Valentine's Day Ideas

This is the Chalkboard Technique.  I used a bunch of different stamps from a bunch of stamp sets.  Inked the saying in Versemark then put on White Embossing Powder and heat set.  Then you take White Craft Ink and smear it on the black cardstock to look like the chalk being wiped off on a chalkboard.  The ribbon is Primrose Petal 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I just love this technique.

I just love the NEW Hearts A Flutter Stamp and Framelits!  I also used the NEW Borders Scoring Plate, I am not sure you can see it very well in the picture, it is just below the ribbon the whole width of the card little scallops and dots.
