Card Kit in the Mail

If you purchased the card kit for May from me this is what you will be getting. I am excited to tell you that I have the June Card kit in the Mail all ready designed and I am just excited about this one as I was about the May one. I hope you enjoy the kit.

Butterfly Card

My Upline made a card similar to this one for me so I wanted to give it a try and this is my version. The butterflies are made out of vellum. I used rhinestone brads to hold the ribbon on. The background uses the texture plates. The stamp set is Very Versatile and the ribbon is satin all of which you can find in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Wedding Card Class

Here are the Wedding cards and one money holder that we made in a class the other night at my house. The girls had fun making them and loved the different ideas.

Kind Thanks

How do you like those butterflies? They are so fun to make with the Big Shot die. This card is similar to the one in the Stampin' Up Idea Book & Catalog on page 92. I don't think you can see but I used the Texture Plates on the Butterflies to give them some dimension.

Scallop Skirt

I just love make these. This time it is a skirt and top. I used the Raspberry Tart DSP, Rose Red, Cameo Carol and Pink Pirouette Cardstock, Scallop Oval Punch, Round Tab Punch and Pretty In Pink Ribbon.

Barouque Motifs

This is something out of my comfort zone all one color. I used Certainly Celery Ink, Cardstock, Rhinestone Brad and Grosgrain Ribbon. What do you think?

Dress

My upline was talking about the scallop dress so I just had to give a try. This was fun to do. I made this card for my daughter's 24th birthday this weekend.
I used the Raspberry Tart DSP, Scallop Sizzix Die, Polka Dot SU Texture Plates, Save the Date Stamp Set, Pretty In Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Word Window Punch and Key Tag Punch.

Here is another Wedding card I came up with but decided against for this Sat.

Wedding Card

This is one of the Wedding Cards I made and was going to make in my Wedding Card Class this Sat but I decided against making this one. The grommet was a little difficult to do so I need to find an easier way. Other than that I like the card.
Cardstock is Choc Chip, Pink Pirouette
Stamps: Oval All
Big Shot: Manhattan Impressions Die
Punches: Scallop Oval and Large Oval
Ribbon: Pink Piroutte Striped Grosgrain
Accessories: White Gromett

6" x 11 1/2" Accordian Card

The idea for this came from Dawn Rapas she is one of the ladies leading a group event called UStamp. I loved this idea so much I made 2 of them in a matter of minutes.
This one I made to put on my desk at work. The other one I made for my mom for Mother's Day (mom if you are watching yours is different so you will still be surprised). I think this is a great gift idea. It sure was easy and quick to make.

Scrapbooking Class

This is the 3 - 12x12 pages we made on Sat for my scrapbooking class.

We used the Daisies #2 die, Little Leaves Sizzlet, Billboard Decorative Strip, Summer Sun Corduroy Button and Eyelet border punch.

Urban Garden DSP, Very Versatile Stamp Set, Matchbox Messages Stamp Set and Button Bouquets in Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red.

Ture Friend Stamp set, Think Happy Thoughts and Kiwi Kiss Corduroy Buttons.
The girls loved the pages and I can't wait to see what they look like with they put their pictures on them.

May is National Scrapbooking Month

Today is the start of National Scrapbooking Month. I will be starting the month off with a Scrapbooking Class on Sat. We will be making 3 - 12x12 pages for different events in your life. Whenever I have this kind of class it is always challenging for me to come up with the the layouts because I am not use to deciding on what the page is without having the photos to create it. After Sat. I will post the 3 pages we made. This will be a fun event with friends. There will be plenty of laughter and Snacks.
