More Circle of Friendship

This is a couple of the cards that we were going to make on thur night but now I am cancelling my eScape class due to lack of participation. I only had 1 person sign up for the class so I am just going to cancel. No sense in wasting her time and mine.

So I am sharing with all of you the cards we were going to make using the special for June.

Circle of Friendship

Here on some samples I made this weekend using the Circle of Friendship Stamp Set that is part of the eScape 2008 promotion for June.

The card on the left I used Very Vanilla for the card and Regal Rose Cardstock. On the Regal Rose Cardstock I used the set Sprinkles and stamped the butterflies all over the front. I used the Coluzzle and cut a hole in the center. Then I stamped "thinking of you" and popped it up. Then I used the Very Vanilla Wide Grosgrain and tied it around the left of the center hole.

The card on the right I used the Love Notes Soft Sky (part of the eScape special) which is a 3x3 love note. I punched a scallop in Very Vanilla and pierced hole in each scallop. Used 1 3/8" circle in Blue Bayou, 1 1/4" circle in Soft Sky and then used Very Vanilla and Stamped "Thank you" in the center.

Graduation Card

Here is a graduation card I made for my boyfriend's son for his open house, that was last weekend.

I used the graduation cap from Year After Year, embossed "Congratulations" from the Spring Occasions Catalog and embossed the year in non-SU stamps. Then on the inside I used the star punch, wrote Good Luck on the Word Window Punch and I have a non-SU stamp that says Wolverines which is their school mascot.

Isn't this card stinkin' cute

They say it is going to be hot and muggy here in Grand Rapids, MI this weekend. So I thought why not cool off with this cool card. I always liked the green popsicles, they are my favorite. Here is another way to use that tart & tangy set. Also, the bite marks are made using the scallop punch. So what do you think?!

Father's Day

Is not far off. You need to be thinking about how you will be making your card for that special dad in your life. This is the card I came up with to inspire all of you. My dad has long pasted and I miss him dearly. This is kinda unusual for me to even make a Father's Day card but I thought I would this year.

I used Close to Cocoa for the card and stamped the background in Choc Chip using the Wanted Stamp set. The Father's Day saying is from All Holidays. I used the Choc Chip Twill ribbon from the Occasions catalog (this expires the end of June) with a Ribbon Slide from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit also from the Occasions catalog.
