Upline meeting

Everyone brought supplies for us to make a 3-D items that they created. Donna brought for us to make a Journal book using the Enjoy Every Moment set, Mary had us make a Cootie Catcher/Fortune Teller Candy Holder, Doreen had us make a notebook and I brought for them to make a Easter Box with Reeses Candy in it. The easter bunny and eggs were made using different punches. We had fun making them and talking SU business.

Swap card that I told you I would show you

Here is the card I made using Phrases for a Friend set and the new Choc Chip Twill Ribbon from the new Occasions Mini that starts March 1. I am not sure you can see in the upper right corner I dry embossed with the Crop-a-Dile. I hope you like it.

Memorial Service for a Friend today

A friend, co-worker and Stampin' Up! Demonstrator passed away Sunday. Vicki was a great lady that I worked with. She was a customer that came to my classes and once she had a party she signed up to become a Demonstrator. Vicki had been battling cancer and had been in a coma. She was on life support and her family had to make a tough decision. I will miss her dearly but she is in a better place.

Here is a swap that I am working on

I have everything prepared to make this card. Now all I have to do is assemble them. I made 24 cards for this swap. It uses a new set Phrases for a Friend from the Occasions Mini that starts March 1. When I get them done I will show you what I made.

Make n Take for this weekend

This is the Card that we will be making this weekend using the So Many Scallops, Friendship Blooms, a bubble from the Build-A-Brads on Kraft and Blue Bayou cardstock. I am not sure you can see the center of the scallop but instead of using the brad with the build-a-brad I just used the bubble part.

Drop In Sale-A-Bration Class

I am having another Sale-A-Bration Class this Sat., Feb 23. Stop over anytime between 11am - 1pm and look at some items I have made with the Sale-A-Bration sets. There is no charge and there will be a make-n-take. When I get the make-n-take sample made I will post it here for all to see. Sneak Peak

I made a card today with one of the new sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I used the Phrases for a Friend set and the new Poly Twill Choc Chip Ribbon. Also there is Poly Twill Ribbon in Old Olive. You will have to get this ribbon I just love it! I was making 24 cards for a swap I am in and didn't know what to make so this is another one I made but it is not the one I made for the swap. I will show you later next week what was the swap card I made.

Embrace Life

I didn't think I would like this set when I first saw it and then I seen some cards stamped with it and had to have it.
There is going to be a Seminar coming up in March put on by a SU Demonstrator in my area, she does it every year. Well this year I am not going to be able to attend because I will be on a Cruise. She asked for 5 samples made from any set of your choice from the Spring/Summer Catalog and I choice Embrace Life. These are the 5 samples that I am submitting.

The pink card uses the One of a Kind set that is now available to purchase. I love this set! On this card I used a rub-on "You make me happy" from the SAB catalog. You have got to love Rub-ons. This card is similar to the one from the 2008 Spring/Winter Catalog.
The embrace life sympathy card is one I made for someone that lost their father.

SAB Class that I had on Sat.

This is what the ladies made today 2 cards, a kit kat holder, candleholder and a candy topper. They had a great time. They got to use rub-ons on ribbon and paper. The stamps they used were Embrace Life, Text & Texture and the SAB set Friendship Blooms. They were really impressed with the Bead Duos on the candleholder.
